Shipping Policy

We want to make your shopping experience as simple as possible, so our shipping methods and policies have been designed to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Please make sure you enter your shipping address correctly as once it has been received, and your product is dispatched we cannot alter the address, and you will be charged the standard applicable postage rate for us to resend. 

Shipping methods:

Shop Snooze primarily uses New Zealand Post and our parcels are sent on overnight delivery, however, please allow up to 3 working days for potential courier delays and stock availability.

As of 28/04/2023, shipping is a flat fee of $8 including rural delivery. 

Free Shipping for NZ orders $180.00 and over, mainland NZ only. We cannot ship to Great Barrier Island without an additional surcharge. Please email us for a quote.

Once your order has been completed (the payment has cleared and your order is packaged), you will be sent an automated email from our courier service when they have collected your order (please check your spam if you haven’t received it). You will receive another email prior to delivery, and then again when your item has been delivered. 

Once your items have been shipped, they become your property and responsibility. If a product arrives damaged, or is misplaced, it is your responsibility to liaise with New Zealand Post or the shipping agent responsible. No refunds or replacements will be given for products missing or damaged in transit. We will however provide you with all the necessary information to make your claim.

International Shipping:

For Australia, the flat rate is $15.00 tracked. The standard delivery time for Australia is 3-10 working days. Delivery time for International deliveries to Australia is generally 3-10 working days, but recently we have been experiencing longer delivery times.

Shop Snooze is not liable for any international customs/duty/import taxes and fees. Please note if your item is sent back to us for reasons out of our control then shipping is non refundable. 

Please note, we cannot sell SmartSnugg products outside of New Zealand. Please contact SmartSnugg to place your order.

Delivery times:

Packages to urban areas are often delivered on an overnight service, provided the items ordered are in stock and your order is placed before 2.30pm.

Please note that we endeavour to ship your goods within 24 hours of receiving your order. We do not ship on weekends or on public holidays, so any orders placed on a Friday afternoon/Saturday/Sunday will go out early the following week.  However, please allow 3 working days for delivery, as this covers busier times, items out of stock for a day or two and busy times with the courier companies.  We will contact you if the item you have ordered is out of stock.

Our standard delivery service is no signature required. Please make the necessary notes if you wish to have signature required, and arrange for the courier to leave your parcel in a safe and secure area at your given address.

International tracked: 

Australia - 3-10 working days.

Other Countries - please enquire before purchasing.

Rural delivery:

Having lived rurally and experienced frustrations with Rural Shipping surcharges, we made the decision to not pass on the additional charge that we are charged for delivering to rural delivery addresses. However, please allow an additional 2-4 days for delivery if you are rural.

Packaging and Recycling:

We use a mixture of Compostable and Biodegradable satchels, please dispose of these thoughtfully.
